For those who love classical music - while waiting for the 93^rd edition of the well-known Micat in Vertice edited by the Accademia Chigiana di Siena - there’s Musical landscapes in Tuscany – Classical Music in Val d’Orcia, a beautiful festival of classical music with famous international artists and prestigious musicians, born thanks to the cooperation Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia and Castiglione d'Orcia, which will take place in the breathtaking scenarios of the Val d’Orcia, a countryside not far from Siena.

Every Saturday evening till November 28th you can enjoy a concert in one of the wonderful villages of the Val d’Orcia, a few kilometers South of Siena. Suffice is to say that San Quirico d’Orcia with its Val d'Orcia Natural Artistic and Cultural Park, has been declared UNESCO World Heritage Center.

These places of great beauty, characterized by lovely landscapes, true icons of Tuscany in the world, are the background to these musical events accompanied by delightful wine tastings of renowned local red wines like the Brunello di Montalcino or the Nobile di Montepulciano, and of genuine salami and cheeses, as the best Tuscan cuisine’s typical dishes.
