The Mercato nel Campo is an event included in Tutto il Natale di Siena planning for the next Christmas festivity. It develops at the same time cultural, touristic-economic and enogastronomic topics.

After the great success of the last years in Siena, Mercato nel Campo comes again to start the Christmas in Siena with a full immersion in XIV century, between history, artisans and enogastronomic excellences.

Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December, from 8:00 to 20:00 in the amazing shell of Piazza del Campo will be re-evocate the medieval great market with 160 stands which propose the best products of sienese tradition and typicalness from Italy and Europe, disposed according to the rules made from municipal authorities in Middle Age.

In the marvelous Piazza del Campo in Siena  two days of market frozen in time between sienese traditions, quality, taste, old craft and the excellences of yesterday and today.

The event evokes the historic Great Market of XIII century in Siena, in the same location and with the same peculiarities of craftsmanship, agriculture and manufacture.

More than 160 stands will show the best enogastronomic and artisan products to put on an  unique event like this with a rich placard of events dedicated to the taste with workshops, cooking show, activities for children and books announcements.

With the Siena’s Christmas lights, that will be turn on the 1^st of December, Mercato nel Campo is an experience you can’t miss!
