In the wonderful scenery of the Tuscan countryside, takes place the great cycling race of the Strade Bianche.

A race that has now a great importance in the cycling world scene and in the hearts of fans. It is the classic of north of Europe in the most southern point, which winds along a breathtaking and very challenging route through the hills of the Siena’s territory, ending to Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful places in Italy.

On Saturday the heroes on the pedals (not coincidentally the race was born with the name of Eroica) will face 184 km, 63 of which on the dirt road.

The undisputed king of this exciting cycling classic is Fabian Cancellara, winner of 3 editions. In 2018 Tiesj Benoot triumphed, while the only Italian success is Francesco Moser in 2013. On the podium have risen others as great as Valverde and Peter Sagan.

On Sunday, will take place the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche, reserved for non-professionals. There will be two paths of different difficulty.
