Montalcino, home of the famous “Brunello”, is a typical medieval village situated on a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside. On the hill stands the beautiful fortress of XIV century, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view. You the Town Hall, the Episcopal Palace should be visited, such as the churches of Sant’Agostino, Sant ‘Egidio, San Francesco and the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Soccorso. The walk between shops of artisans and traditional products of the narrow streets of the center it’s very pleasant.
